The middle option that actually exists.
SAP, Oracle, and the larger Microsoft stack are real ERPs. They are also priced, scoped, and staffed for businesses much larger than ours.
The local desktop options are the other extreme. Cheaper, but desktop-bound, no audit trail, no API, and the staff who know how to run them are retiring.
Polaris is the middle. It runs in the browser with nothing to install, ships a customer balance app for your customers’ phones, matches payments FIFO against unpaid bills, exports FBR Annexure C under your STRN, and enforces RBAC across 157 permissions. Priced to fit a Pakistani SMB’s line item.
The assistant never writes a row. It reads through 51 tools that are filtered against the signed-in user’s own permissions before the model sees them, then emits a proposal that 26 hand-written Python executors carry out once you approve it, so the model proposes and the Python does the writing.
Anything we cannot back up, we do not write.
